Market information
The New Year started in a positive fashion, and the level of enquiries and viewings is higher than we would have expected, particularly considering the terrible weather we have experienced so far this year. We are seeing a high level of new clients, but this is also combined with prospective purchasers returning to their search in the Algarve, as markets and general optimism seem to be improving. Time will tell, but the initial signs are more positive than at this time last year.

The exchange rate (€ to £), has continued to strengthen, and has now reached 1.15 (source: www.xe.com). Whilst this does not represent a massive change, it is significant if the trend continues.
